Paige Lewin
Paige is a straight-talking, passionate presenter, podcaster, content creator, public speaker, and advocate for the afro and curly-haired community.
As a black woman born in Britain and raised in predominantly white areas, Paige has struggled to maintain and, many times, even like her natural hair. Having damaged it through years of relaxer use and high-tension weaves, she decided to start afresh.
She embarked on a journey of exploration and education, helping others in her community by intimately documenting her hair journey on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, gaining millions of views and opening safe spaces for much-needed debate.
In 2023, she launched Texture Talks – the UK’s only dedicated podcast addressing the lived experience of those with curly and coily textures – and Team Texture, a brand selling products for the Afro-haired community unavailable on the British high street.
With a third podcast season and new book, How To Love Your Afro, debuting with a major publisher in 2025, and appearances on Good Morning Britain and ITV News, talks in schools and collaborations with ally brands, like Denman, Macmillan and Garnier in 2024, Paige has solidified herself as one of the UK’s leading advocates for men and women with Afro hair
