“I feel incredibly privileged to be a woman, and one of colour. I get to do so many awesome things, my biggest success to date is I’m a wife, I have three children and five grandchildren. I got to stand up for black women in comedy as a pioneer. To whom much is given, much is required, and my DNA means I have much more to do. As a woman, I’m truly blessed”
